Our clients may order any of the pieces shown on our website or brochure
as spec’d or with modifications. There may be a small price change,
dependant upon modifications requested. We are also happy to design a
new piece based on our current designs as well as design something
completely custom just for you. We endeavor to keep our prices economical
and our quality high.

Our Measurements
We round our measurements to the nearest inch. If you would like more
exact measurements or other dimensions please call.

Will It Fit In Your Home?
Some of our pieces are quite large. To keep delivery day from turning into
a big disappointment for everyone please help us make sure your furniture
will fit into your home beforehand. This means that pieces must fit
through doors, into elevators, up stairs, around corners and past any
other obstacles that might stand in the way. If you have any doubts at all,
let us know when you place your order.

Beds

Our beds can be ordered in a range of sizes: California King, Eastern King,
Queen, Full and Twin. Our wood bed components are hand crafted from
oversize lumber. While power tools are used for milling and cutting, every
component is finished by craftsmen using sharp hand tools. Decorative
turnings are also shaped by hand rather than mass produced on automatic
lathes and exhibit precise transitions and subtle variations in shape.
Traditional methods of joinery and fastening allow for the natural
movement of wood with seasonal changes in temperature and humidity.
Surfaces are meticulously hand sanded at every step in the finishing
process. Finishes are applied by hand in multiple layers, after which the
final coat is hand rubbed to a soft sheen. Integral to this process is glazing
which adds realistic, subtle signs of age when appropriate.
Our bed rails are made from substantial, solid wood planks and feature a
concealed, solid steel inner rail that provides exceptional perimeter and
center support for the mattress and box-spring.

Dining Chairs
Our wood Dining chair components are hand crafted from oversize
lumber. While power tools are used for milling and cutting, every
component is finished by craftsmen using sharp hand tools. Decorative
turnings are also shaped by hand rather than mass produced on automatic
lathes and exhibit precise transitions and subtle variations in shape.

made from substantial, solid wood blanks and are traditionally joined
using mortice, tenon, foxtails, wedges or draw-bored pegs where
appropriate.

Our Finish
We prefer to use an oil-and-wax finish, which allows air and sunlight to
naturally color the wood with a subtlety unmatched by anything from a
can. The heated linseed oil penetrates the surface of the wood, adding
greater visible depth to the wood, revealing the grain pattern. Our linseed,
teak, tung oil and wax finishes are easy to maintain and age gracefully as
the wood's natural patina emerges. We do however use varnishes on
tabletops and french polish on select pieces. We stain and lacquer upon
request.
